The honeydew honey in the last 4 years has been awarded two gold medal, one platinum and one gold medal at the London Honey Award. It’s characterized by a liquid consistency and a very dark color.

The honey dew has a very dark color and a particularly dense consistency. Its taste is sweetish, less sweet than acacia honey, but not as bitter as the chestnut one. It has a lower glycemic index than other types of honey.
It is excellent simply spread on a slice of toast or to flavor a white yogurt. It retains its properties as a natural sweetner, perfect with hot drinks, like tea and herbal teas, moreover it can give an extra touch to cereals or muesli in the morning.
In sports, it seems the ideal for those who practice physical activity; It’s considerated a valid natural supplement of minerals and trace mineral salts, moreover it has an high concentration of magnesium and potassium.
This last characteristic makes it an excellent help for students.
